аbout savvā
savvā is my living collection of insights, inspiration, and hands-on experiences with progressive ways of work. Here, I share what I've learned about organisational culture, structure and design.
The evidence is compelling: progressive ways of work aren't just feel-good initiatives – they're the future of business. Organisations that embrace them achieve outstanding results while nurturing the human side of work and contributing positively to our planet. This triple impact isn't a happy accident – it's the natural outcome of designing organisations that work better for everyone.
the story behind savvā
About 10 years ago, I encountered a question that would change my professional life: How can collaboration be scaled without killing the joy of work?
During my time at a bank, I witnessed firsthand how large organisations often struggle with:
- Rigid hierarchies where people are reduced to levels (B-1, B-2, etc.)
- Isolated teams working in silos, disconnected from each other
- Suffocating bureaucracy and endless approval chains
This experience revealed a fundamental truth: an organisation's success isn't just about its business model – it's about how it's built from within. Progressive organisations prove that we don't have to choose between profit and purpose, between efficiency and humanity, between growth and sustainability.
beyond work
Creating better organizations isn't just a professional challenge – it's my quest for meaning. Work occupies 40 hours of our week for most of our adult lives. These hours should not only contribute to our personal growth and fulfilment, but also to building a more sustainable and equitable world.
Over the past decade, I've explored different roles, methods, tools, and behaviours in pursuit of better ways to work. Whether we call it management, leadership, culture, or organisational design, the goal remains the same: creating organisations that achieve exceptional results by putting people and planet alongside profit.
It would take courage to change how we design organisations at scale. To create organisations that work for every stakeholder - from a business and a human perspective. But then again, this is the change I want to see in the world.
where I am today
My decade-long journey has led me to focus on three key initiatives in 2025:
- Serving Krisos and the mission to turn organisations into a force for good by putting progressive organisational principles into practice
- Developing a simplified framework for acquiring and transforming organisations that can be applied across Europe and beyond
- Working with forward-thinking organisations in Bulgaria to unleash their full human potential
join my journey
We all know what good work feels like - feeling energised, being challenged by the technical sophistication of work, not by collaboration issues, being able to contribute effectively, being proud of one's work, etc.
But how do we get there? I wanted to know myself. And today, I want to share my exploration into this topic, experience and insights with the people asking the same question. If you are one of them, please sign up. And more importantly, reach out and share your story!
why savvā?
To me, the name savvā is beautiful, bright, and honest. While it echoes the French "ça va" and "savoir," at its heart lies the word "savour" – a reminder to cherish and find meaning in my work.
My mission is to create organisations where people don't just work, but truly savour their contribution to something bigger than themselves.
